Busy Bees

 Children in this class
begin to learn the limits
of appropriate social interactions.
What are the best ways to make
a new friend, to enter into a group,
to ask for help?

• They are learning and practicing emergent math skills such
  as counting objects, matching and
sorting, and identifying patterns.

• Letter recognition, phonemic
awareness and other pre-reading
skills are introduced by practicing
nursery rhymes, daily story time,
and playing sound and word games

 • Weekly themes help the children incorporate what they are learning with “real world” experiences.
